Uses and Insights: Cocoa Absolute is an incredible, full-bodied aromatic treat. Know as "Food of the Gods", Cocoa has been used for centuries for medicine, aphrodisiac, ceremonial rituals and energy beverage. The Absolute imparts an aroma which is distinctly Chocolate we suggest you use it to add enticing indulgence to any cologne or perfume and body care blends.
Blending: Cocoa Absolute does not fully dissolve into carrier oils, but does very well blended into alcohol. We suggest organic alcohol such as Grape, Sugar Cane or Grain alcohol. If you want to scent a carrier oil with it, the scent will transfer to the oil, but due to its viscosity and non-solubility, it will sink to the bottom. Its scent will transfer to the carrier, just not fully incorporate into the product.
Aromatic suggestions for essential oil use:
For palm inhalation, tap one drop onto the palm of your hand, rub your palms together, cup over nose and inhale deeply.
For an aromatic night’s sleep, add a few drops to a tissue and place in your pillowcase.
For aromatherapy while driving, use our Car Diffusers or add a few drops to a tissue and tuck into the vent of your car.
Turn on the heat or AC and diffuse pure aromatherapy into your driving experience.
To bring aromatherapy to your personal care routine, add a few drops to unscented lotion, body or bath oil.
For use in an aromatherapy diffuser, please add the appropriate drops as suggested in the user manual.
Dispensing:
When using our 3.75ml vial, make sure to flip vial upside down and tap bottom of the glass with your index finger to dispense.
Each tap will equal approximately 1 drop of essential oil.
Shaking the vial alone does not work to dispense, be sure to tap.
When using our 10ml or 30ml bottles, please turn over the bottle and allow drops to drip out.
Please note that thinner oils dispense more quickly, while more viscous oils dispense more slowly.
Test how quickly an oil dispenses before using to make a blend to avoid too many drops dispensing at once.
Safety:
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. May irritate sensitive skin.
Dilute with a base or carrier oil or with plant based alcohol before using. Please note essential oils are not diluted in water, they will only be diluted when blended into oil, fat or alcohol.
Store away from heat and light. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a health professional prior to use. For external use only, unless diluted and under supervision of licensed medical practitioner.
